We tow a 2022 Jayco North Point fifth wheel, and somewhere along the way the itch to know what it’s doing got the better of me. So there’s now a Raspberry Pi living in a cabinet behind the Starlink, quietly tapping into the trailer’s systems — propane, water, batteries, tire pressures, the generator, the dish, and where we are on the map.
This site is where the interesting parts of that spill out: the trips we take, the things that break and how we fix them, the upgrades, and the occasional deep-dive into making a 40-foot box of plywood and aluminum a little smarter.
