Our Family
My name is Dallas Williams, and in 2016 I married the love of my life — Krisstine Veit Williams. She’d been my crush since I was seventeen years old. I’m fifty-eight now, so I suppose I waited a while for the right woman. She was worth every single year.
I proposed to her in Paris, on the love-lock bridge. I wanted it to be perfect, because she is the most amazing person I know. It was.
We were married on August 6th, 2016.
Becoming a family of six
Krisstine came into our marriage with a son, Sebastian — that’s him on the left, the tall one who somehow ended up taller than the rest of us. He’s twenty-eight now and out making his own way in the world.
Then, on May 29th, 2026, we stood together in a courtroom in matching t-shirts and officially adopted three more: Adam (13), Kayla (11), and Myles (6). They had already been ours in every way that matters — they’d lived with us as foster kids for two and a half years. Adoption day just let the paperwork catch up to our hearts. The photo above is the moment it became official. The best day of our lives.
Why we hit the road
Krisstine and I have been lucky enough to travel the world together. Now we get to do the very best part — loading the five of us into the fifth wheel and showing these kids what’s out there.
Every one of these adventures has been with the kids, in our RV:
- San Diego, California — with stops through Utah and Las Vegas along the way
- South Dakota — standing under Mount Rushmore
- Cañon City, Colorado — looking down into the Royal Gorge
- Steamboat Springs — white-water rafting
Right now we’re gearing up for the big one: Orlando, Florida, for Disney and Universal, with a whole string of stops in between. We’re especially looking forward to a couple of days in Georgia with my aunt and uncle.
And I should be clear about one thing: I don’t take much credit for these adventures. Krisstine is the planner and the booker — she maps the routes, lines up every campground and reservation, and keeps all the moving pieces from falling apart. It’s an enormous amount of work, and she does an amazing job of it. Me? I’m just the driver. 😄
A little about why
Before we ever decided to take this journey with these kids, Krisstine and I spent years putting on events for our local children’s hospital. Together we raised over $250,000 — and 100% of every dollar went straight to the kids who needed it.
So when the chance came to do more for a few kids rather than a little for many, it wasn’t a hard decision at all. It was the most natural thing in the world.
That’s us — the Williams family. Thanks for coming along for the ride. 🚐
